Flourish Fitness & Wellness Ministry's mission is to provide a place for you to partner with others on a journey to physical, spiritual, and emotional health. We offer various classes through out the week including fitness and nutrition to help you on that journey!

Inspired by the Bible story from the first chapter of the book of Daniel, The Daniel Plan is a 52 week program to help you adopt a healthy lifestyle--not just another short term diet.  The Daniel Plan curriculum has been designed by three world-renowned doctors including brain expert Dr Daniel Amen, functional medicine pioneer Dr Mark Hyman, and heart surgeon Dr Mehmet Oz.  Since being launched in 2011, more than 9500 people have started the plan, including Pastor Rick Warren.  The basis of the study is 5 essentials. Faith:

Fitness: 

At The Daniel Plan, we believe the most effective form of exercise you can do to achieve abundant health is the one that you will actually do.  We encourage you to discover movement that you will enjoy and repeat.  Most importantly, have fun doing it!

Focus: 

In a world where so many distractions compete for your attention, it is more important than ever to focus on God's plan and priorities for your life.  Express your gratitude to God and make the choice to dwell in God's goodness; consistently reflecting on his truth and promises.

Friends: 

When it comes to getting healthy, two are always better than one.  The Bible says God created the universe in such a way that we need each other.  One of our foundational beliefs is that "everybody needs a buddy".  We truly get better together!

 

Here at Park Place Church, we are excited to journey through this program with you in our small group study.  We meet on Monday nights @ 7pm in the conference room.  We hope you will join us!
